None Narrative

For this I wanted to do and experimental piece with water and densities.  I tried to get my hands on some Magic sand (waterproof sand) but had no luck so I tired making my own using different ingredients. I had candles that I could melt and plasticine but they would still float and not sink so their densities need to be changed.

I remelted the wax and added self raising flour to thicken it up ( I had some blue food colouring so i just put that in to add colour)

Poured into cold water, it forms at the bottom

Melting sticks of plasticine and adding sugar to thicken it so it will be heavier and sink

Same as the wax. poured into cold water and forms like coral and the bottom.

I did this with about 8 different coloured plasticine sticks so that I could have plenty of choice and the densities are all different.

The set I used from the Narrative piece as I wanted to use the lights and saves me making a whole new one.

The filming process went fine, was just the lighting that I had trouble with. I was using natural light but the later it got the darker it got so as the lighting on the water bowl may differ from time to time but I can still see see whats happening.
The editing I took as an opportunity to use the effects in Premiere Pro as I have havent used this programe for a while. In all I think I have accomplished what I set out to do, experiment, which I have with different materials, lights and editing.
